CLUB TEAM LISTING
There are many club teams in the Triangle that travel to other cities to play tournaments, including several high level teams that regularly compete at club nationals. Here is a list of some of them with (hopefully) current contact information. Teams may form & disband with each year, so this listing is virtually impossible to remain comprehensive for very long.

Ring of Fire has been to nationals for the past 20 years. Their current captains are: Josh Torell, Josh Mullen, Taylor Pope
Although some of the names have changed, the flames keep rising for Raleigh's Ring of Fire. Now in its 22nd year, one of Ultimate's longest running programs returns to USA Club Championships with a revamped roster, honed offensive scheme and collection of young talent from the best college programs in North Carolina and Virginia. One thing that has not changed is their commitment to blue-collar, gritty defense and swagger that has defined Ring of Fire for over two decades. Ring Nation is always recruiting new fans, so come join us as we pay homage to the values of The Man in Black. Love, Is A Burning Thing.....

Pronounced "dos" & based out of Chapel Hill, this competitive team has regional goals and national dreams, based upon having fun, providing playing time to every teammate, and receiving maximum effort from each player. Love of the game drives them to have fun with each point they play regardless of whether we are winning or losing. Love of the game drives us to put 100% effort into each practice and workout so that we may better ourselves and be ready for each opponent.

- PHOENIX ULTIMATE
Phoenix is a women's club team that placed 7th at club Nationals in 2010. This year they look to break into the top 4 and have competed as far away as Labor Day. On Sept. 18th, they were gold medalists at Virginia Fusion. They also organize a 2nd team, Ember, competing in the club series. Contactphxultimate@gmail.com for more info on both teams!
The Phoenix is a vibrant, mythical bird that will typically live 500 to 1000 years and then build a nest. The Phoenix will ignite the nest and burn fiercely until out of the embers and ashes a young Phoenix is reborn anew. This new Phoenix is destined to live as long as its old self. A new Phoenix has been reborn in NC women’s ultimate. This new Phoenix recognizes that a tradition of winning has been built by the sweat of previous generations. We respect and thank the women who have gone before us. It is with our deepest gratitude that we go forward, hoping that we may ignite a history of excellence as long as the previous. Phoenix is a program dedicated to opportunity for play for women. Therefore, Ember was born. The Phoenix program 7 core values we live by are:
1. We play for the love of the game.
2. We play for our teammates.
3. We are relentlessly positive
4. We are coachable.
5. We believe in Spirit of the Game.
6. We believe that success and failure are not synonymous with winning and losing.
7. We believe that if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life.

BONEYARD
Boneyard is an Open Masters club team that finished second at the 2010 USA Ultimate Club Championships.
For more info, contact boneyard@tfda.org
Boneyard was started in 2005 by Victory Maneilly and Christian Schwoerke from the remnants of ED, Cranky, and Thor. The only members of that inaugural team are current team members Dwayne Purper, Christoph Boshoff, and Roger Lassiter. We stand on the shoulders of co-captains Mark Britt and John Boswell (2008-10), who retired this year only after turning fifty. They inspired a culture of hard work and hard running that still drives Boneyard. We made Nationals in ’06, ’07, ’09, and ’10. We won the Spirit of the Game award in ’06 and ’09. In 2010, we finished in second place for the tournament and dead last in spirit. We look to improve on both results.
